HTC has officially announced the launch of its Desire X smartphone in
India. Priced at Rs. 19,799 (MOP), the HTC Desire X runs on Android 4.0
Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core
processor.
The HTC Desire X, recently spotted on various online retailers,
features a 4.0-inch capacitive touch screen with 800 X 480 pixels
resolution. HTC says the 5MP auto focus camera of the Desire X is
powered by the company's proprietary ImageChip, and features a f/2.0,
28mm wide-angle lens, BSI sensor, HDR mode and automatic adjustable
flash.
Other specifications of the Desire X
include HTC Sense 4.0, built-in Beats Audio support, 4GB internal
storage and a microSD card slot for additional storage up to 32GB. The
device comes with a 1,650 mAh battery. HTC is offering 25GB of cloud
storage from Dropbox free with the Desire X.
Moreover, the HTC Desire X supports 3G,
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2Dp and aptX audio and GPS. The HTC Desire X
